The Wendigo were once humans who have been mutated into cannibalistic monsters after being possessed by the Wendigo spirit. They feast on the flesh of other humans which makes them stronger with each feast. Despite their frail look, they can leap heights of several times their height, and have a dense bone structure so are surprisingly strong despite their frail appearence.

They're biggest weakness is fire, and can hunt for hours before finally attacking their prey. It should be noted that they rarely attack on their own unless threatened. If you find one, you'll probably find several more behind it.
